🌐Custom Domains

You can host your AskAI on a custom domain like ask.mycompany.com by using our Custom Domain add-on

To move your AskAI to a custom domain, just go to "Manage subscription" on your Dashboard, then scroll down to Add-ons and select "Custom Domain".

We'll update your subscription to include custom domains and share details on more details on how you can get set up.

How to set up a custom domain

1. Open your DNS provider e.g. Namecheap, GoDaddy, Cloudflare (or whoever you manage your domain name with)

2. Create a new CNAME record (here's where you need to go on Namecheap, GoDaddy and Cloudflare)

   1. For the "name" field, if you wanted the sub-domain chat.mycompany.com, you would use chat as the "name"

   2. For the address/target, use: custom.myaskaidomains.com

   3. Turn off 'Proxied' if this is an option e.g. Cloudflare toggle

Lock your AskAI to your custom domain (Optional)

Within the Security section of your My AskAI setting, you can also restrict your AskAI to a specific domain or sub-domain. Just enter the value of your custom domain (without any https or www)
